Overview
Taste
Light flavor of cumin, mint, citrus and parsley. The whole plant is edible, both stem and leaf.
Appearance
Dark green stem tending to purple, with red-purple leaves.
Origin
Originates from East Asia, where it has been cultivated for centuries.

Sushi, sashimi, desserts, cocktails and Japanese gastronomy.
How we grow it
Grown hydroponically in closed climate chambers — without soil and without pesticides. In stacked layers from floor to ceiling at our farm in Ringsted.

Keep refrigerated at 2–5 °C. Delivered living, so it stays fresh significantly longer than cut greens. Rinse only just before serving.
