Overview
Taste
Intense flavor of crisp peas, light sweetness and mild bitterness. The whole plant is edible, both stem and leaf.
Appearance
Light green stem with deep green leaves.
Origin
The pea originates from Asia and South Africa, later the Mediterranean and Iran. Peas have been grown in Scandinavian and European kitchen gardens for centuries.
Culinary use
Salads, stir-fries, fish, fine-dining garnish and sandwiches.
How we grow it
Grown hydroponically in closed climate chambers — without soil and without pesticides. In stacked layers from floor to ceiling at our farm in Ringsted.

Keep refrigerated at 2–5 °C. Delivered living, so it stays fresh significantly longer than cut greens. Rinse only just before serving.
