Grow Up Farm was founded by Lasse Vilmar and Jens Esseman with a shared conviction: the farming of the future is built upwards, not outwards.

2019
Grow Up Farm is founded
Jens Essemann and Lasse Vilmar start a vertical farm in an old factory building in Ringsted.
2022
“Best in Class” at Hispack
The packaging for living pea shoots is named one of Europe’s best packaging projects in Barcelona.
2023
Entrepreneur Prize 2023
Grow Up Farm receives the Entrepreneur Prize at the Ringsted Erhvervsforum business awards.
2024
The range grows
Chili Cress launches for foodservice, and we exhibit at Foodexpo in Herning.
2026
Farmers Mix and Foodexpo 2026
We launch Farmers Mix to reduce food waste and meet the industry at Foodexpo in Herning.
