Overview
Taste
Flavor of parsley, anise and chives. Light acidity with a fine scent of anise. The whole plant is edible, both stem and leaf.
Appearance
Green stem with tender green foliage.
Origin
Originates from Central Asia, later the Mediterranean. In Denmark best known from the kitchen and the herb garden.
Culinary use
Fish, shellfish, eggs, hollandaise, potatoes and classic French gastronomy.
How we grow it
Grown hydroponically in closed climate chambers — without soil and without pesticides. In stacked layers from floor to ceiling at our farm in Ringsted.

Keep refrigerated at 2–5 °C. Delivered living, so it stays fresh significantly longer than cut greens. Rinse only just before serving.
